Houzz is a great place to find inspiration. Their interface is sorted for easy searching and the photos are curated for high quality. https://www.houzz.com/photos/phbr7-bp~t_728~s_2111-2112-2114-2116~a_13-13787-13790--38-255

F - The house addition I've added mimics the existing structure.

B - The cart path needs to withstand erosion on this steep lot and provide good traction. Stained concrete with decorative stone edging has been requested. A permeable surface would be preferred if it could match the performance.

E - Plants under 2' fill the borders around the cart path for visibility. Small evergreen shrubs for winter interest. Hardy native perennials for the other seasons. Flowers for the sunniest spots.

D - Plants over 6' provide screening.

A - I propose extending the patio surface to accommodate more people and furniture. I've shown a straight edge to mimic the existing structure but a curved edge might look better with the landscaping.

B - The cart path doubles as a walking path to the front entrance of the house on the south side.

C - Footpath connects the patio and cart path with stepping stones.

E - Plants under 2' fill the borders. Small evergreen shrubs for winter interest. Hardy native perennials for the other seasons. Flowers for the sunniest spots.

D - Plants over 6' provide screening.

Permeable paving would be better for water absorption on the property, but it requires even more soil disturbance than concrete. Ideally, this would be applied over the top of the soil to avoid damaging the tree roots.
